In
order to provide business with a meaningful tool and improve
energy-management, a systematic approach to the development and
integration of industry specific disciplines was developed into one
software application. IMAP was developed as a seven-module,
multifunctional, state-of-the-art proprietary software program that
incorporates an engineered “complete systems” thinking approach for
determining all repair requirements for piping and equipment. IMAP is
designed to provide users with easy access to information so they can
monitor and maintain optimal insulation conditions for their customers’
assets. IMAP also allows users to estimate system-repair costs to
accommodate both short- and long-term budgeting.
IMAP
incorporates the latest auditing technology, such as infrared thermograph,
digital imaging, AutoCad, and 3E Plus® for real-time reporting
and decision making.
IMAP
provides a basis for recommending repairs based on the following three
strategies:
A key
feature of IMAP is its strong reporting capabilities. Users can generate
reports to give customers an unbiased insulation efficiency management
plan. This ensures that equipment repairs are completed in a timely,
cost-effective manner in accordance with facility standards, procedures,
and planning schedules.
The
IMAP reporting feature provides the following:
