IMAP auditors survey an organization’s
equipment, piping supports and structures and provide a complete and
comprehensive fireproofing survey in accordance with your facility
fireproofing guidelines and/or industry standards. Auditors will identify
existing fireproofing materials (cementitious, concrete, intumescent, etc)
and recommend repair procedures consistent with the fireproofing
manufacturers recommended practices and insurance requirements to maintain
infrastructure integrity.

IMAP Audits Inc. developed a systematic
approach to meet preventative maintenance requirements. Using IMAP’s leading
edge technology, audits are conducted to identify where problems exist and
the physical condition of the fireproofed systems. Results of the audit are
tracked using IMAP’s leading edge software by integrating audit results into
engineer’s drawings and plant isometrics and incorporating digital imaging
for ease of identification. These records become an invaluable risk
management tool. By identifying where problems exist, prioritizing
maintenance requirements and how to approach repairs if problems exist,
increases plant safety and reduces business risk exponentially. |
